Overview :: With half a minute walk between the two, Blue rails and Reading's ‘Cat Alley’ are found on the other side of the road from House Of Fraser and the Holy Brook car park entrance. Cat Alley not only holds standing cats, precisions and vaults, but also its very own pitched tent. The blue bars offer vaults to precisions, and some nice short runs or potential for linking moves together.
Conditions :: Cat alley has smooth brick walls which provide some grip, whilst the blue rails hold well, and as with most rails offer good grip.
Plod ::You will never get any bother from security at cat alley. However, being next to a main road, you might want to watch for police driving past. The blue bars are outside a heavily secured building. So with a security camera pointing at the rails and a security guard that often comes out to move us on, you may find you wont have very long here..
Supplies :: As riverside and the oracle is just around the corner, you’ll have no trouble finding some grub.
Watch your back :: As both spots are on a main road its not likely there will be trouble. A tramp does live in the pitched tent by cat alley, so watch out you don’t vault onto ‘his’ patch of grass while he’s there and you should be fine.
Pk heaven :: Neither of the spots will keep you busy for very long, but good for drilling techs and worth a visit.
Overall :: Although these spots won’t keep you busy for long, both are good for linking techs together and could create some very nice runs. |
