Overview :: Mayors Garden is directly opposite 'The Hexagon' theatre which is situated just around the corner from broad street mall, the police station and the yellow pages building. It is a fantastic spot with a wide range of challenges to keep everyone happy. From big precisions to wall hops, from vaults to balancing; everything can be found here if you look hard enough.

Conditions :: With the exception of the steps most things around here are constructed from rather grippy concrete. When it rains the grass area and wooden benches become slippery and generally unusable. Due to the low and shaded location it takes a while to dry out. If its rained in the night its better to save this location for the afternoon to allow for this.

Plod :: This is an interesting one & depends entirely who's working there at the time. Several employees there love what we are doing and one even has a child who is interested in taking up Parkour. Quite understandable really when you consider the hexagon itself very much promotes the arts. On the other hand, there are a few miserable old gits there who have no appreciation for art and will do everything to move you on as soon as possible.

Supplies :: With broad street mall and the 99p shop just up some steps you wont go hungry here.

Watch your back :: Fine during the day, although reasonably well lit at night it can attract some undesirable people at times.

Pk heaven :: One of the best all round areas in reading. Loads to do no matter what your experience.

Overall :: This will keep you occupied for hours if you know what to look for. The only thing which lets this down is the lack of shelter when it rains.
