Description
Filmed just before Christmas, this was one of the first freerunning gym sessions I had been to since pinewood closed 2 months previously. The atmosphere was amazing with most of the people we knew from pinewood along with those from bulmershe, basingstoke and even oxford! I progressed a lot that day, so much so that I lost count of all the new things I tried. First times included: Backflips on the spot, standing gainers, running gainers, back hand springs, roundoff backflips, wall flips, losers off height onto 'hard' surface, webster half twist, sideflips on floor onto matts and front fulls into the foam pit. All in all it was an amazing day; if not for the tricks, just for the atmosphere and knolwedge that we had secured a new place for regular freestyle gym sessions.

Description
I filmed this over the summer holidays with some friends back home in Devon. My ambition was not only to capture a vast ammout of personal progression on film, but also to present it in such a way that the viewer would see how it feels to to parkour rather than to watch it from an outsiders perspective. I have always been a big fan of the early 'Levity' videos, those of you who have been around long enough will recognaise where I got some of my inspiration.

Description
This is a solo video from an intensive 3 or so hours of parkour training at Reading university. I did quite a few new things in this session and found a couple of new spots to play with. Basically everything i recorded is in here, good or bad(apologies for very slow climb ups!). I was mostly pushing for speeding up movements and linking things a bit. I did a lot of repetitions and drilling movements over and over with an emphasis on improving levels of control.

Description
This is a short video featuring a lot of personal progression. Pinewood gym was quite possibly the best gym I've ever been to. The unique facilities (airtrack!!), big open space and amazingly cool instructors/staff made that place really special. While basingstoke is better in some ways, I really consider it just an evolution of pinewood as it was the people who made the difference rather than just the facility. Anway, back to the video: This was the first time I ever did double frontflips, running gainers (on airtrack) and front 360s'. I also found out I could do the 'flag' move, holding myself at 90 degrees to a vertical rail. It was one of those days where after months of no progression at all, everything came together at once with stunning results.

Description
This is another gym video, this time from an all day gym session at Europa gym in Erith. We hired it out for the day with around 20 people attending, and filmed...a lot. This has quite a bit more variation in movements from the last europa video as we filmed over a whole day rather than a couple of hours. As expected with gym videos, this isn't strictly parkour with lots of the movements being tricks and flips. Thanks to everyone who went for such a great day!

Description
A minute-long video showcasing the best of my abilities arround the beginning of 2006. Realistically, this was just thrown together with a load of footage I had lying arround - it wasn't filmed for specifically, and so the editing is simplistic. The focus should be on the parkour and ability, not on anything else. theres a bit of a message at the end of the video, which marks my thought patterns regarding parkour at the time. |

Description
We had wanted to properly film and edit a short video containing parkour for some time before making 'Drive'. After finding out about a parkour film competition with the deadline only a month away, we started putting ideas together immediately. After working out a storyline that would mean both creating a genre of video that we had never attempted before, but also utilising some of the most efficient parkour that we could produce to traverse the chosen locations, we began filming. Originally i had hoped to film it all over one day, but in the end (and as with most video projects), we ran out of time and were forced to film over the following weekend as well. We were incredibly lucky that the weather was so similar the following Sunday despite the winter months, and also lucky to re-organise 3 out of 4 traceurs to help film again (Shaun being too ill to turn up). A big thanks to all those involved and helped to create this video.
